MUSIC is a food for our souls. People love listening to favourite music when they have leisure time. Nowadays young people are seen listening to music from their mobile phones with the help of earplugs. They do so for a long time and later complain about hearing problems. Some of them come up with complaints of chronic headache. All these are effects of listening to music for long time at a stretch and with a louder volume with ear plugs on and in this way they are damaging their eardrums.
There are many others who listen to music while they are on roads either walking or crossing over. In this way they are making themselves vulnerable to untoward incidents which are at times fatal. Even children are seen using earphones these days. They either listen to music or watch cartoons on mobile phones with earplugs on.
Listening to music or talking to friends with earplugs on has assumed epidemic proportions across the world now. Media reports have it that the USA many die due to accidents caused by earplugs. We must be very careful before it is too late.
